William Hill Launches Irish Racing Podcast Series

William Hill has launched a new weekly Irish racing podcast and content series as part of its broader igaming and sports content strategy, expanding its media output around horse racing in the Irish market. The series, titled Inside Track: Ireland, is hosted by Jane Mangan and Barry Geraghty and is focused on Irish racing fixtures, industry discussion and race previews.

The podcast marks William Hill’s entry into a regular, Irish-specific audio format, complementing its existing igaming and betting content offering. The show is hosted by Mangan, a broadcaster who regularly appears on Racing TV and RTÉ’s racing coverage, and Geraghty, a former professional jockey with multiple Cheltenham Festival and Grand National wins who now works in racing media. Both hosts act as ambassadors for William Hill and will be joined by guest contributors from across the racing sector.

According to the operator, the series will feature weekly episodes covering major Irish racing events and is intended to provide analysis and discussion alongside William Hill’s igaming and racing proposition. The first episodes are already available across YouTube and major podcast platforms, including an episode previewing the Dublin Racing Festival at Leopardstown and a separate edition featuring Irish trainer Philip Rothwell.

The launch reflects a wider trend among igaming operators to invest in owned media and editorial formats, particularly around established betting verticals such as horse racing. By producing original racing-focused content, operators like William Hill continue to explore ways of engaging racing audiences beyond traditional igaming channels while maintaining a presence across multiple digital platforms.
