WSOP Online Launches, Uniting Poker Players Across Three States

Caesars Entertainment, Inc. and the World Series of Poker® (WSOP®) have announced the launch of WSOP Online, a new real-money poker platform that combines player pools from Michigan, Nevada, and New Jersey into a single network. This historic move makes WSOP the first poker operator to pool liquidity across three U.S. jurisdictions.

The rebranded WSOP.COM, now known as WSOP Online, features upgraded functionality, including the ability to play four tables on mobile, Omaha, multi-flight re-entry tournaments, in-app gift drops, and new game derivatives like Mystery Bounty. Players can also look forward to new features, bigger promotions, and larger weekly tournaments.

Current players in Nevada and New Jersey should complete the pre-registration process to create an account on the new platform. Existing balances, tournament tickets, and rewards points will be transferred within 72 hours of the platform’s launch. Players can continue using the current service until May 27. After pre-registration, they will need to re-install the WSOP Online app.

The launch coincides with the 55th edition of the World Series of Poker, which begins on May 28 at Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas. This summer’s series features 30 online bracelet events starting June 1 and concluding on July 21. Highlights include the $333 Triple Treys No Limit Hold’em and the new $10,000 WSOP Online Championship on July 11.

WSOP Online will also offer exclusive satellites to qualify for land-based tournaments, with entry fees as low as $1. Daily single-table satellites and large promotions, such as the guaranteed 25-seat Main Event mega-satellites on June 30 and July 3, will also be available.

Five high-roller events on WSOP Online will use a hybrid format, with final tables played live in Las Vegas. Events beginning online on June 18 and June 29 will conclude live on July 14, while those on July 10 and 11 will finish live on July 15. The July 13 event will have its final six players compete live on July 17.

To celebrate the new platform, any WSOP Online player making a deposit from May 28 to June 29 will receive a complimentary entry into a $100,000 player appreciation freeroll No Limit Hold’em event.

“This platform upgrade is long overdue and is a big win for our players,” said Danielle Barille, Vice President of Online Poker at Caesars Digital. “The best is yet to come for WSOP Online tournaments, and we’re thrilled to bring Michigan players into the fold with Nevada and New Jersey, resulting in a better experience, more value, and the biggest prize pools of the year.”
