2mee to Drive Growth Following Reverse Takeover with Golden Rock Global

2mee has entered non-binding heads of terms regarding a potential reverse takeover by Golden Rock Global (GCG), a listed Special Purpose Acquisition Company. Golden Rock Global has shown interest in 2mee’s omni-channel communication platform.

The terms regarding the potential shares that GCG might offer to 2mee shareholders are not yet confirmed, but early estimates suggest it could be between £6 to £8 million, paid entirely in new GCG shares.

In addition, Golden Rock Global is considering raising more working capital for the combined group.

With the funds potentially raised from this collaboration, 2mee plans to expand its operations, refine its current technology, and work with online gambling operators.

2mee’s platform allows for influencers to appear in web and app messages, creating a continuous user journey. The platform’s purpose is to connect brands with their audience and influence decision-making.

Current data indicates the global influencer marketing domain could reach US$21.1bn this year, with predictions of US$48bn by 2027.

Considering these figures, 2mee aims to provide messaging services on the open web, which could assist in the collection and use of first-party data in the igaming industry.
