ManU Crushed, Arsenal Boosts Betway As Official Global Betting Partner

Fresh from delivering a weekend beat-down to its perennial, once-fearsome, Premier League rivals Manchester United, The Arsenal have signed a major partnership deal with top iGamers Super Group, owners of leading brands Betway and Spin.

“We are pleased to announce Betway as our Official Global Betting Partner,” confirmed Juliet Slot, Chief Commercial Officer at Arsenal.

“It is the latest of a number of global brands to join our family of partners in recent weeks — a further sign of our commercial strength as a club.

“We are excited to work with Betway to bring more experiences for our supporters across the world and promote the importance of Responsible Gambling.”

The multi-year partnership underlines Betway’s growing commitment to football, building on their existing affiliations with Premier League’s West Ham as the Principal Partner and Brighton as the Official Global Partner.

Additionally, Betway’s sports betting portfolio extends to associations with clubs in Spain’s La Liga and Germany’s Bundesliga.

Beyond football, Betway’s brand is embracing a wide gamut of other sports, among them NBA basketball and NHL hockey in the US, tennis, cricket and horse racing.

Responsible Gambling

With this collaboration, Arsenal and Betway have avowed to enhance fan engagement and introduce global campaigns and exclusive content across the social media spectrum.

Furthermore, as a part of this partnership, Betway’s branding will be visible on the advertising boards at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium, during domestic Premier Leagues matches and cup competitions, extending a global reach to Arsenal fans.

Anthony Werkman, CEO of Betway Group, said: “Having built one of the most exciting and enviable global sport sponsorship portfolios of any industry, I am absolutely thrilled to announce our new partnership as Official Global Betting Partner of English Premier League side, Arsenal.

“We’re excited to work together to deliver great content and experiences for Arsenal’s huge global supporter base. And Betway will also be working with the club to ensure the partnership follows industry marketing protocols and important Responsible Gambling practices.”

Werkman continued: “We [Betway already] have strong connections to North London with an office based there, so it will be great to see the Betway brand around the Emirates Stadium.

“We look forward to supporting them on their journey both domestically and in Europe in this season and beyond.”
