Betika Partners Playson for Kenya iGaming Launch

Betika has partnered with Playson to introduce new igaming content into the Kenyan market, marking the supplier’s entry into the region through an established local operator.

The agreement enables Betika to integrate a selection of Playson’s casino titles into its platform, making the content available to players in Kenya and Uganda. The rollout forms part of broader igaming expansion activity in East Africa, where operators continue to scale multi-market offerings and incorporate international supplier portfolios.

Titles included in the launch feature Thunder Coins: Hold and Win, 4 Pots Riches: Hold and Win, and Coin Strike: Hold and Win, which have been deployed across multiple regulated igaming markets. The integration was delivered via the Markor Technology aggregation platform, supporting distribution and operational scalability.

Betika’s platform reach and regional presence have positioned it as a distribution channel for third-party igaming content, while suppliers entering African markets continue to rely on established operators to access local player bases and regulatory frameworks. The partnership reflects ongoing collaboration between operators and suppliers seeking to expand within high-growth igaming jurisdictions.

Playson’s entry into Kenya has involved platform and infrastructure adjustments aligned with local regulatory requirements, as suppliers adapt product delivery to jurisdiction-specific standards. The deployment also aligns with wider igaming trends in emerging markets, where content localisation, compliance and platform performance remain key considerations for market entry.

The partnership further extends Betika’s igaming offering while supporting Playson’s strategy of entering new regulated markets through operator agreements, with East Africa continuing to attract attention from international suppliers seeking regional growth opportunities.

Conor Jenner, Senior Sales Manager at Playson, said: “Entering the Kenyan market is a major milestone for Playson, and doing so alongside a leading operator like Betika makes this step even more impactful. Betika’s strong market presence and deep understanding of its players provide an excellent foundation for our content to perform from day one.

We have carefully adapted our infrastructure to meet local regulatory standards and operator requirements, ensuring a smooth rollout and high-quality player experience. We are excited about the opportunities this market presents and look forward to expanding our presence across Africa.”

Peter Stagles, Group Chief Product Officer at Betika, added: “We are pleased to partner with Playson and bring their globally recognised portfolio to our players in Kenya and Uganda. At Betika, we are continuously enhancing our offering by working with best-in-class partners to deliver engaging, high-quality entertainment experiences tailored to our markets.”
