The campaign, directed by Brian Billow and filmed in Los Angeles, showcases Foxx’s versatility through comedic character impersonations, all reflecting BetMGM’s brand identity—born in Las Vegas, rooted in hospitality and entertainment, and committed to exceptional customer experiences. The commercials will air nationwide in prime time and across multiple platforms throughout the season.
The first spot, titled Anthem, features Foxx portraying various characters, capturing the emotional highs and lows of game day. The commercial emphasizes BetMGM’s commitment to rewarding customers with exclusive real-world benefits, such as hotel suites, available through its connection to MGM Resorts International and the MGM Rewards and Marriott Bonvoy programs.
In another commercial, Foxx appears as a sportscaster, explaining BetMGM’s new Second Chance promotion. This offer gives bettors the chance to win back their wager in cash if the player they bet on for the first touchdown scores the second instead. This unique promotion is available for the professional football season and adds a new dimension to the game day experience.
The third spot highlights a special welcome offer for new BetMGM customers, allowing them to receive up to $1,500 in bonus bets if their first bet loses (offer not available in NV, PR, and ON; bonus bets are non-withdrawable and expire within seven days).
