BetVictor Canada Launches Safer Gambling Campaign with McGrady

BetVictor Canada has unveiled a new responsible gambling campaign in partnership with former NBA player Tracy McGrady, who joins as the operator’s Safer Gambling Ambassador. The initiative features an out-of-home advertising strategy centred on high-traffic areas across Toronto.

The campaign’s visibility will be supported by two mobile digital trucks operating near major sporting venues including Scotiabank Arena and Rogers Centre, aligning with scheduled home games for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Raptors, and Blue Jays. In addition, BetVictor Canada has partnered with Clear Media Group to roll out digital taxi top advertising, with 100 branded taxis offering evening coverage across the city until April 5, 2025.

This initiative coincides with Problem Gambling Awareness Month, a nationwide effort each March to promote education, prevention, and access to support services for gambling-related harm.

BetVictor Canada continues to provide a suite of safer gambling tools for its customers, supporting informed play across its range of igaming products and sports betting markets. The campaign reflects the operator’s ongoing commitment to responsible gambling in the Canadian market.

Mark Harper, Head of Emerging Markets at BV Group, said: “BetVictor is delighted to be participating in the National Council of Problem Gambling campaign in March, to help increase public awareness of problem gambling and the need to promote prevention, treatment and recovery services.

“In using our Safer Gambling Ambassador, Tracy McGrady, to raise awareness about BetVictor’s safer gambling tools such as loss limits, time alerts and product restrictions we are dedicated to ensuring all players have a safe gambling experience. #PGAM2025.”
