Blackpool FC and LeoVegas Collaborate for Safer Gambling Week
During the upcoming Football League One match against Shrewsbury Town FC, Blackpool FC will replace its regular front-of-shirt sponsorship with logos promoting the ‘Safer Gambling Week’ campaign. This change, made possible by the club’s principal partner, LeoVegas, makes Blackpool FC the only club this weekend to prominently feature this vital message. The initiative is focused on raising awareness and advocating for responsible gambling practices.
LeoVegas, as the official principal partner of Blackpool FC, has been featured on the front of the first-team adult shirts since July. The partnership extends beyond brand promotion, emphasizing the significance of safer and responsible gambling. Aligning with the ‘Safer Gambling Week’ campaign, a cross-industry initiative in the United Kingdom and Ireland, LeoVegas Group has chosen to replace the usual branding on the shirts with ‘Safer Gambling’ logos for this match.
On Saturday, 18 November, Blackpool FC’s first team will don this special match kit, uniquely showcasing the ‘Safer Gambling’ logos. This exclusive display underscores both Blackpool FC and LeoVegas’ dedication to promoting safer gambling practices, highlighting their commitment to the campaign and setting a precedent in the igaming industry.
