Brightstar Lottery’s Michelle Carney to join Hall of Fame

Brightstar Lottery has announced that Michelle Carney, Vice President of Global Lottery Marketing, will be inducted into the Lottery Industry Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2025. The ceremony will take place this September in Ontario, Canada, during an event hosted by the Public Gaming Research Institute (PGRI) in partnership with the North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries (NASPL).

Carney leads Brightstar’s global lottery marketing and communications strategies, overseeing product marketing, trade show presence, thought leadership, and B2C campaign materials supporting customer launches. She also manages relationships with key industry associations including the World Lottery Association (WLA), European Lotteries (EL), and NASPL.

Her recent work includes leading the marketing and implementation plan for the $5 Mega Millions game launched in April 2025, coordinating efforts across 47 U.S. lotteries and 11 subcommittees. She has previously supported major multi-jurisdictional rollouts such as Cross-Sell, $2 Powerball, and Cash 4 Life.

Founded by PGRI in 2005, the Lottery Industry Hall of Fame recognises individuals who have demonstrated a longstanding commitment to promoting excellence and integrity in the lottery sector. Inductees are selected through nominations and voting by current members.
