FanDuel launches Playtech iPoker in North America

Playtech has expanded its North American presence through the launch of its iPoker platform with FanDuel, marking the first deployment of the network in the region.

The integration follows the recent launch of PokerStars exclusively on FanDuel and enables poker services for customers in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Ontario.

The agreement makes FanDuel Playtech’s first poker licensee in North America and extends the supplier’s poker technology into regulated markets across both the United States and Canada.

Playtech’s iPoker platform has been used by operators in multiple international jurisdictions and now forms part of FanDuel’s poker offering in the four regulated markets.

The launch represents a further expansion of Playtech’s North American business as suppliers and operators continue to invest in regulated online gaming and poker markets across the region.

For FanDuel, the integration adds a dedicated poker product to its existing online gaming portfolio, while Playtech gains entry into the North American poker sector through one of the region’s established online gaming operators.

Marat Koss, Chief Interactive Gaming Officer at Playtech, commented: “Debuting our industry-leading iPoker platform in North America with a valued partner like FanDuel is a defining moment for Playtech’s North American expansion. We’re immensely proud to bring our poker platform to three major regulated markets and support FanDuel in their mission to deliver a top-tier poker experience to players.”
