FanDuel, the leading US brand under Flutter Entertainment and a major player in the online sports betting and igaming sector, is set to offer an expanded experience for the 151st Kentucky Derby across its sportsbook and racing platforms.
The company will again allow users to place bets on Derby Week events, including the Kentucky Derby and Kentucky Oaks, through a single account and wallet across the FanDuel Sportsbook and FanDuel Racing apps. New customers can access a $500 No Sweat First Bet promotion, while existing users will receive a No Sweat Win Bet for the Derby.
FanDuel TV will provide continuous coverage throughout Derby Week from Churchill Downs, featuring commentary and analysis from a team of racing experts and on-air personalities. This includes Todd Schrupp, Christina Blacker, Gabby Gaudet, and Larry Collmus, among others. Coverage will be available on FanDuel TV and FanDuel TV+, with the exception of races with NBC broadcast rights.
Additional programming includes a live broadcast of Up & Adams, hosted by Kay Adams, airing from Churchill Downs on May 2 via YouTube. The show will feature celebrity guests and offer a behind-the-scenes look at the event. FanDuel will also host its annual Derby party at Paristown Hall in Louisville, headlined by country artist Shaboozey.
This year’s campaign underscores FanDuel’s ongoing effort to integrate horse racing with traditional sports betting under one user experience, further reinforcing its market position in both verticals ahead of one of the most-watched events in the US racing calendar.
“The Kentucky Derby is one of the most historic sporting events in the world, and FanDuel is honored to be a part of it once again,” said Andrew Moore, General Manager of Racing at FanDuel. “We’re proud to be the first sportsbook that gives fans the ability to bet on sports and horse racing from a single platform, and we’re excited to use that access to bring new energy and excitement to racing’s biggest day.”
“The Kentucky Derby is a cultural phenomenon on the sports calendar, and we’re thrilled to be back on the ground providing comprehensive coverage fans can’t get anywhere else,” said Michael Shiffman, Senior Vice President of FanDuel TV. “Our team of experts and insiders will bring the stories, the contenders, and the electric atmosphere of Derby Week to life.”
