Fitzdares, a distinguished UK bookmaker, has announced the appointment of Nick Dutton as its new Group Chief Operating Officer (COO). Dutton, who joins the company with an impressive 36-year background in IT and technology within the gaming sector, will play a crucial role in enhancing Fitzdares’ technological capabilities. His expertise will be instrumental in driving brand growth and elevating the user experience for Fitzdares members.
Dutton’s arrival at Fitzdares follows his tenure at Sporting Group, where he served as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). His significant contributions there encompassed key mergers, IT operations, product development, and quality assurance. His career spans over three decades in senior roles at major organizations such as FDJ Gaming Solutions, Ladbrokes Coral, and gaming solutions provider Laverock Von Schoultz. Dutton has a proven track record of implementing innovative solutions and transformative strategies that have led to substantial growth, profitability, and enhanced product usability.
In his new role at Fitzdares, Dutton will oversee critical areas including Information Technology, Product, People, and Trading. His appointment is a significant addition to the leadership team and aligns with Fitzdares’ commitment to offering unparalleled sporting experiences.
Dutton’s appointment is a highlight for Fitzdares, reflecting the brand’s ongoing dedication to excellence. It follows a successful year for the bookmaker, which included extending its partnership with Premier League club Fulham FC, launching a new luxury members club, and collaborating with Quantum Leap Solutions to introduce ‘The Racing App’ – a leading app in the racing segment.
