Following hot on the heels of its recent Gibraltar success, adding to permits to operate in the UK, Malta, Portugal and the Isle of Man, Boldplay has this month also been greenlighted by Romania’s Oficiul National pentru Jocuri de Noroc (ONJN).
The rapidly-expanding company, known for its in-play jackpots, will now be allowed to offer its growing collection of 80-plus slots, table games, bingo/keno options and scratch cards to players on online platforms in the Central European nation.
Having recently been very active in teaming up with aggregators such as Games Global, Slotegrator and EveryMatrix, Boldplay’s ONJN licence will open a lot of doors for the company when it comes to finding new potential partners in Romania, affirmed CEO Valli Fragoso.
“Our acquisition of a Romanian gaming licence from the ONJN is another significant step for our company and a key part of our future expansion plans,” said Fragoso.
“Sitting alongside our existing licensing from the Gibraltar Licensing Authority, this latest certification will enable us to forge new relationships with regulated operators and allow us to introduce our games in what is an exciting and rapidly developing market.”
