IGT and PMP Agree on 10-Year Contract Extension in Malaysia

IGT has entered into a 10-year contract extension with Pan Malaysian Pools SDN BHD (PMP). The prolonged agreement stipulates that IGT will update PMP’s present system technology to its Aurora central lottery system and pertinent system components. The objective of this technology enhancement is to assist in managing and systematically expanding PMP’s operations.

A crucial aspect of this updated system integration is Aurora’s compatibility with PMP’s proprietary dmcGO iLottery platform, facilitated through IGT’s omnichannel solution, OMNIA. This integration aims to streamline processes within the igaming platform by ensuring that the technologies implemented are working in a unified and efficient manner.

The collaboration between IGT and PMP through this extended contract aims to fortify the technological infrastructure of the lottery system in Malaysia, which is expected to navigate through the evolving demands of the igaming industry. Future developments and outcomes of this partnership will unfold over the extended contract period, guiding PMP’s business growth while utilizing IGT’s Aurora system.

“Over the last 12 years, IGT has demonstrated its forward-looking lottery expertise by helping PMP introduce innovative and responsible, growth-driving lottery solutions into the market,” said Tan Kong Han, PMP Managing Director.”IGT’s sophisticated Aurora central system and advanced features, as well as its integration with our dmcGO platform, will help PMP provide our players with engaging and convenient lottery experiences over the next decade.”

“This contract extension marks an exciting new chapter for PMP and IGT, as we continue working together to modernize lottery offerings throughout Malaysia,” said Jay Gendron, IGT Chief Operating Officer, Global Lottery.”Our world-class Aurora system and special features will provide valuable insights to PMP, helping grow their business and maximize funds for The Community Chest, a charitable trust funded by PMP that focuses on providing financial assistance to educational institutions in Malaysia.”
