International Game Technology PLC (IGT) has announced that Shondra DeLoach-Perea, Vice President of Field Services, Call Centers, and Technology Operations, has been awarded Global Gaming Women’s (GGW) 2024 “Patty Becker Pay it Forward Award.” This prestigious award honors women in the gaming industry who have made significant contributions to GGW’s initiatives and supported the growth and development of women within their organizations and communities.
With over 25 years of experience in the gaming and lottery sectors, DeLoach-Perea has held diverse roles in technology, compliance, operations, employee training, and manufacturing. She joined IGT in 2008 as a field services manager for southern Nevada and now oversees a global team across North America, Latin America, Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Beyond her leadership role at IGT, DeLoach-Perea is actively involved in various employee engagement and diversity initiatives, including IGT’s Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Council and the Women’s Inclusion Network. She also serves as an executive sponsor for the NexGen Employee Impact Group and supports IGT’s Sustainable Play™ initiatives.
Her contributions extend beyond IGT, with involvement in GGW’s Lean In Circles and co-chairing GGW’s DEI Committee. DeLoach-Perea also participates in the Women in Sports and Events network and supports initiatives at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), including the Battle Born YES speaking program.
DeLoach-Perea will be honored at Global Gaming Women’s 14th Annual Kick Up Your Heels event, taking place at the Wynn Las Vegas on October 9, 2024.
