IGT Expands Partnership with LOTTO Thüringen in Germany

International Game Technology PLC (IGT) has announced a seven-year contract extension with the Thuringian State Lottery (LOTTO Thüringen) in Germany. Through this agreement, IGT will deploy its retail central system technology, Aurora™, and provide software upgrades to enhance the lottery’s operations. The new platform is scheduled to go live in March 2026.

Aurora, an integral part of IGT’s OMNIA™ solution, is designed to support lotteries by providing a player-centric, omnichannel platform. The system will enable LOTTO Thüringen to modernize its transaction processing, game management, and back-office operations. Additionally, Aurora will offer user-friendly applications, tools, and reporting capabilities to help drive innovation and profitability for the lottery.

The contract solidifies IGT’s ongoing partnership with LOTTO Thüringen and continues to build on the company’s expertise in providing advanced, scalable technology solutions for the global lottery sector.
