Kansspelautoriteit Seeks New Board Chairman

Kansspelautoriteit (KSA) in the Netherlands is currently searching for a successor to its board chairman, René Jansen, as his term is set to conclude on October 1, 2024. Jansen has decided against seeking reappointment due to his approaching retirement at the close of 2023. Consequently, there is now an opening for the position of board chairman. The selected individual will be appointed by the Minister for Legal Protection and is expected to serve in the igaming sector for a tenure of six years.

René Jansen commented: “In recent years I have committed myself to the Ksa’s mission of safe play with great energy and pleasure. There are many great challenges for the new chairman. The Ksa has an important role as a supervisor and enforcer in the various gaming markets. This management position is challenging, requires creativity, innovation and decisiveness, but above all has great social value.”
