Landmark Signings Boost Kambi Group Q3

Boosted by new landmark signings with Svenska Spel and LiveScore, and extended contracts with ATG and the Rank Group, B2B sports betting platform providers Kambi Group plc have reported a sterling third quarter for the period ending September 30.

The Malta-based, Swedish-origin company generated a revenue of €42.1 million (£36.59m) for the quarter, compared to €36.7 million (£31.89m) in Q3 2022.

And total revenue for the first nine months of the year was €129 million (£112.11m), up from the €108.2 million (£94.04m) of the same period last year.

Kambi’s EBITA for Q3 was €6 million (£5.21m); while EBITA for the first nine months of this year was €16.7 million (£14.51m), said the Stockholm NASDAQ-listed firm.

“The landmark signings of Svenska Spel and LiveScore Group are Kambi’s most significant partner agreements with existing sports betting revenue in our history and represent a major step forward towards our long-term strategic goals,” stressed Kristian Nylén, Kambi CEO and Co-founder.

“As well as being fantastic agreements in their own right, these partnerships reflect the wider demand we see for our complete sportsbook service, with them coming shortly after the signing of Bally’s Corporation, along with seven other partner signings during the year.

“Overall, I am pleased with the progress we are making with our long-term plan, across commercial and product.

“The long-term picture looks bright and we remain confident in our ability to deliver on our aims and cement Kambi’s position as the number one sportsbook supplier in the world.”
