Lottoland Deutschland GmbH, established in Hamburg in late 2020 by the globally renowned Lottoland Group, has successfully secured a long-term license in Germany for the brokerage of state and state-licensed lotteries. This achievement has led to its inclusion in the “whitelist” by the Joint Gambling Authority of the German federal states (GGL).
The licensing authority has indicated that Lottoland Deutschland will soon receive additional licenses for sports betting and virtual slot machine offerings. With the acquisition of these licenses, Lottoland Deutschland is set to operate as a broker for state or state-licensed lotteries and as an operator for sports betting and virtual slot machines, providing its services online within the German market.
