QTech Games, a leading igaming aggregator focused on emerging markets, has secured a key regulatory milestone with the approval of its platform and content by Peru’s Ministry of Foreign Commerce and Tourism (MINCETUR). The licence confirms that QTech’s full suite of igaming products is compliant with the country’s updated online gaming legislation.
The certification enables QTech Games to legally operate within Peru, including the rollout of its recently launched QTech Hybrid solution. This software service allows land-based operators to extend into the digital space, offering players the ability to deposit, withdraw, and play across both in-shop environments and personal devices.
Having already seen success in similar hybrid gaming models across Africa, QTech Games is now focused on replicating that momentum in Latin America. The company has signed multiple operator agreements in the region and has been nominated for Best Aggregator at the upcoming SiGMA Americas Awards.
QTech Games will continue its regional engagement with a presence at several upcoming industry events throughout 2025, including SiGMA Americas in São Paulo, GAT Expo Cartagena, SBC Americas, Peru Gaming Show, and GAT Expo Mexico.
Philip Doftvik, QTech Games’ CEO, said: “It’s fantastic to have certified our aggregation platform in Peru via MINCETUR – and I’m pleased to say we have more such approvals pending across the continent. We attended fantastic events in Rio and, more recently, SAGSE 2025 in Buenos Aires – and anticipate more of the same at SiGMA Americas in Sao Paulo next week, where we’re also thrilled to have been shortlisted for Best Aggregator at their LatAm Awards. Given the venue, Brazil will be dominating the discussion for many at SiGMA Sao Paulo. However, we’ll also be looking beyond Brazilian borders this year, and are already active in Mexico, Chile, Colombia and Paraguay. We know our QTech Hybrid solution will work very well wherever we put a pin on the LatAm map.”
