Sportingtech Forms a Three-Year Alliance with The Malta Trust Foundation

Sportingtech has entered into a three-year agreement to support The Malta Trust Foundation (TMTF) and its ongoing community initiatives. This collaboration underscores Sportingtech’s commitment to positively impact the communities within Malta where it has a significant presence.

Established in 2015 by Her Excellency, Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, the former President of Malta, TMTF focuses on creating and supporting programs aimed at assisting children and young people who confront daily challenges, including those at risk of poverty or social exclusion.

The Foundation serves as a collaborative platform that unites academics, psychosocial professionals, the business sector, and civil society organizations to effectively address and fill the service gaps present in society.

Through this partnership, Sportingtech aligns with TMTF’s mission to support vulnerable groups by fostering educational and empowering initiatives. These programs are designed to enable individuals to achieve their full potential, particularly through projects with a psychosocial focus, thereby contributing to the well-being and development of the community.

Her Excellency, Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, Founder of TMTF, commented: “The Malta Trust Foundation is grateful for the contribution of the business community to our social projects aiming at empowering and supporting disadvantaged children and young people. The important support by Sportingtech is truly welcome at a time when the demands for assistance from vulnerable families are continuously increasing.”

Colin McDonagh, Chief Sales Officer at Sportingtech, said: “We couldn’t be prouder to establish a partnership with such a worthwhile cause. The Malta Trust Foundation does some outstanding work, and it is a humbling experience to see the projects and initiatives in action.

“This is the latest of our charitable partnerships and we fully understand how important this work is for many communities.”
