Last month, we played host to a timely gathering of some of the foremost professionals in the East African iGaming market at the iGF Supper Club. It took place at the world-famous Sankarah Hotel in the heart of Nairobi, Kenya.
The Supper Club is an intimate networking and learning hub where sector leaders come together, with a prime focus on exploring how we, as an industry, can best streamline our iGaming-related operations, whilst enhancing the customer experience and facilitating sustainable growth of the East African market for many years to come.
The event was chaired by our Head of Content, Curtis Roach.
The welcoming address was given by our Event Partners, Digitain via their Business Development Manager, Zorair Asadour.
The Chairman of AGOK (Association of Gaming Operators Kenya), Saša Krneta, was also in attendance and he shared a few heartfelt words with the attendees, helping to set the tone for what was a momentous event.
Kenyan football legend, McDonald Mariga was our guest of honour on the night. He also spoke and used the opportunity to highlight the importance of player protection, responsible gambling and most importantly for him, the important role that the iGaming industry plays in supporting grassroots sports in Kenya.
The evening of networking and progressive thought leadership was a perfect accompaniment to the fantastic dinner and drinks attendees were able to enjoy, capped off with cocktails on the rooftop. A perfect way to end the evening.
Meantime, the iGF team look forward to welcoming you to the next iGF Supper Club, taking place in Malta, in September 2024.
