The Mill Adventure Extends Partnership with Paysafe

Paysafe, a prominent payments platform, and The Mill Adventure, a German-licensed iGaming platform, have announced an extension to their payments partnership. This collaboration will offer players in Germany, accessing The Mill Adventure’s partner casinos, a wider range of alternative payment methods. Following the successful integration of Paysafe’s digital wallets in 2020, The Mill Adventure has now introduced Paysafe’s eCash solution to cater to players who prefer cash-based payment options for their gaming experiences.

The inclusion of paysafecard, available in 50 countries via a network of 700,000 retail stores, enables players to use cash for secure online gaming purchases. Players can set up a myPaysafe account and upload funds using paysafecard vouchers purchased with cash, eliminating the need for bank account or credit card details.

According to recent research by Paysafe involving over 14,000 consumers, there has been a rising demand for digital cash or eCash, with increased popularity in recent years. Over one-third of eCash users (31%) reported higher usage compared to a year ago, compared to only 13% in 2022. Additionally, 30% of respondents who used eCash within the last 12 months stated it as their preferred method of online payment. Moreover, 68% of online bettors expressed a preference for not disclosing financial information during online transactions, with 50% considering eCash as the safest way to pay for online gambling and 52% finding it the most convenient payment option. This trend highlights the appeal of eCash as an attractive alternative for digital payments in the iGaming sector.

The expanded partnership between The Mill Adventure and Paysafe aims to enhance the payment experience for German iGaming players, providing them with increased flexibility and convenience when managing their gaming budgets.

Zak Cutler, President of Global Gaming at Paysafe, said: “A smooth payments process is an important player acquisition and retention tool for operators, and its key to ensure that different consumer preferences are catered for, especially when it comes to payment security and trust. We’re delighted to build on our existing relationship with The Mill Adventure to offer convenient ways for their players to pay.”

Bianca Costa, Head of Risk, Fraud & Payments at The Mill Adventure, added: “We are committed to providing an exceptional iGaming experience for players, and the payment process is a key part of that. By including more options and offering cash-based transactions such as myPaysafe, we are able to support our partners in providing secure and convenient alternative payment method for their players, giving them increased choice, peace of mind, and the opportunity to manage their gaming budget more easily.”
