The UAE Lottery selects Xpoint as geolocation provider

The Game LLC, operator of The UAE Lottery, has selected Xpoint as its official geolocation technology partner, as it prepares to deliver a secure and compliant lottery offering in the United Arab Emirates.

Licensed by the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA), Xpoint will provide the infrastructure needed to meet the regulator’s geolocation standards, which are modelled on best practices seen in established markets such as the United States.

The Game LLC, supported by a team of global gaming professionals, has outlined its commitment to a responsible, fully compliant player experience. As geolocation becomes a cornerstone of regulatory oversight in emerging jurisdictions, Xpoint’s role will be critical in monitoring player location and ensuring that mandated exclusion zones are enforced.

Designed for scalability, Xpoint’s platform is capable of managing high transaction volumes, offering reliable coverage across the UAE. This includes enforcing location-based restrictions to prevent participation from areas where commercial gaming is prohibited.

The partnership reinforces both companies’ roles in shaping a secure, regulated igaming environment as The UAE Lottery moves toward nationwide availability.

Manu Gambhir, CEO of Xpoint, commented: “We are thrilled to be the geolocation provider for The Game LLC and The UAE Lottery. This collaboration underscores our commitment to delivering the most accurate and reliable geolocation services, ensuring compliance with the UAE’s regulatory framework.”

Ed Bedrosian, Chief Compliance and Regulatory Officer of Xpoint, added: “The Game LLC’s decision to implement our geolocation technology highlights the robustness and reliability of our platform. We look forward to supporting The Game’s UAE Lottery services by providing a secure and compliant lottery experience for its players.”

Bishop Woosley, Director of Lottery Operations at The Game LLC, stated: “Engaging with Xpoint ensures that The UAE Lottery meets the country’s stringent data requirements. By utilizing a private cloud, all data remains on UAE soil, aligning with local regulations and ensuring the highest level of data security.”
