Thunderkick Expands in Romania via Skywind Group Collaboration

Thunderkick, an independent slots studio, is set to enhance its presence in the Romanian iGaming market through a strategic partnership with Skywind Group, a top-tier operator in the region. This direct agreement enables Thunderkick to offer its portfolio, including popular titles like Hot Potato and Hellapenos, on Skywind Group’s leading websites such as Luck.com and Princess Casino.

Skywind Group, a key player in Romania’s online casino sector, is poised to facilitate Thunderkick’s expansion in this vital market. The collaboration also includes plans for future growth into Germany, Latin America, and the United Kingdom.

Established in 2012, Skywind Group is recognized for delivering premium iGaming content and innovative solutions. Its portfolio includes over 200 first-party games, in addition to offerings from partnered providers. The company has a strong presence in 19 regulated markets globally, showcasing its broad reach and expertise in the iGaming industry.

This partnership with Skywind Group comes on the heels of Thunderkick’s recent agreements with entities like Alea and Gamingtec. These collaborations are part of Thunderkick’s ongoing growth strategy, which has seen the studio significantly increase its industry standing over the past year.

Fredrik Ekholm, Head of Sales at Thunderkick, said: “Romania is a key market for us at Thunderkick, so we’re thrilled to be partnering with Skywind Group to bring our portfolio of dynamic, exciting games to a much wider player base.

“Skywind Group is a leader in Romania with a reputation for delivering standout gameplay experiences, and we’re confident that customers will enjoy diving into what we have to offer.”

Daniela Asaftei, Head of CRM at Skywind Group, added: “Thunderkick has become one to watch over the past few years, and we’re excited to be able to offer its games to players throughout Romania – we truly think they’re going to love them.

“This partnership allows us to offer even more innovative, next-level games to our partnered operators, strengthening our brand whilst also allowing Thunderkick to grow even further in a key market.”
