Thunderkick Names Svante Sahlström as New CCO for 2024 Expansion

Independent slots studio Thunderkick has announced the appointment of Svante Sahlström as its new Chief Commercial Officer, signaling a strategic move towards significant expansion and market penetration as part of their 2024 agenda. Sahlström, with a decade-long career in the igaming industry, brings a wealth of experience to Thunderkick, having previously served in key roles at ELK Studios and contributing to the iGaming payment sector with companies like Zimpler and Trustly.

In his new role, Sahlström will focus on guiding Thunderkick’s expansion into new regulated markets, securing partnerships, and fostering growth in existing regions. A major development in Thunderkick’s strategy includes entering the Ontario market this year, an initiative expected to substantially expand their global reach.

Sahlström’s responsibilities extend to leading Thunderkick’s commercial, sales, and marketing divisions. He is scheduled to attend the upcoming ICE event next month, where he plans to engage with both new and existing clients, particularly from the Ontario market.
