Tonybet has awarded the final top prize in its World Cup Card Collection promotion after a player in Laurier-Station, Canada claimed the campaign’s CA$20,000 golden card.
The promotion ran throughout the FIFA World Cup, with players collecting a total of 51 digital cards. These included 48 cards representing the participating national teams, alongside three prize cards in bronze, silver and gold.
The bronze prize, available during the group stage, was claimed by a player in Saint-Colomban, Canada, while the silver prize, available during the knockout rounds through to the quarter-finals, was won by a customer in County Kildare, Ireland.
The golden card became available during the semi-finals, third-place play-off and final, with the CA$20,000 prize now also claimed.
Although all three grand prizes have been awarded, Tonybet said the promotion will remain open until 31 July, allowing participants to complete their collections and redeem any remaining promotional coins.
Tonybet Head of Product Kiryl Liudvikevich said: “You can plan a campaign down to the last detail, but you can’t plan what the World Cup brings.
“We designed the collection to evolve with the tournament, and every knockout round created new stories we couldn’t have predicted. Seeing players complete their collections and discovering who would uncover each prize was the most rewarding part of the campaign.
“I hope everyone enjoyed the experience for what it was meant to be: a fun addition to the tournament, played responsibly and always within their limits.”
