Tonybet Launches World Cup Campaign for Irish Players

Tonybet has launched a World Cup-themed promotional campaign for customers in Ireland, with a total prize pool of €100,000 available throughout the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The World Cup Card Collection campaign allows players to collect digital card packs by completing sportsbook and casino-related tasks during the tournament.

A total of 51 cards are available, comprising 48 digital cards representing each World Cup nation and three physical cards issued in gold, silver and bronze editions.

According to Tonybet, each collected card carries a coin value that can be exchanged for bonus rewards on the operator’s platform. The holders of the three physical cards will also receive cash prizes, with €75,000 awarded to the gold card winner, €20,000 to the silver card winner and €5,000 to the bronze card winner.

The campaign coincides with the start of the World Cup in North America and forms part of Tonybet’s wider marketing activity in Ireland during the tournament.

The operator also plans to release content examining which national teams Irish supporters are backing during the competition, following the Republic of Ireland’s failure to qualify. The campaign will feature former footballer and Tonybet brand ambassador Tony Cascarino.

The World Cup remains one of the largest betting events in the sports calendar, with operators across regulated markets using tournament-themed promotions and engagement campaigns to attract and retain customers during the month-long competition.
