Venlo’s Holland Casino Crowned Europe’s Best at ECA Awards

In an impressive feat, Holland Casino Venlo has been named the best casino in Europe, clinching the title over renowned establishments like Monte Carlo Casino and London’s Hippodrome Casino. Since its inauguration in 2021, Holland Casino Venlo has been a strong contender for this esteemed accolade, finally securing the top spot after closely missing out in previous years. This victory not only highlights its excellence in gaming and entertainment but also recognizes its remarkable architectural design, which has previously earned it several awards, including the title of the best casino in the Netherlands.

The recognition extends beyond Venlo, as Holland Casino Utrecht also received accolades, winning the award for the best sustainable initiative. Pieter Boers, Director of Gaming and Services, expressed immense pride in this achievement, attributing it to the branch’s commitment to sustainability. Holland Casino Utrecht boasts the highest sustainability certification, making this award a testament to its dedication to environmental responsibility.

At the ECA Awards, Holland Casino demonstrated its industry leadership with nominations in five categories, showcasing its diverse excellence. Despite narrowly missing the awards for Best Casino Restaurant and Best Casino Company, with LX in Venlo being a notable contender, Holland Casino’s achievements in this year’s ceremony underscore its prominent position in the European igaming landscape.

Holland Casino’s success at the ECA Awards underscores the operator’s commitment to excellence, sustainability, and innovation within the igaming industry. These accolades not only celebrate Holland Casino’s architectural beauty and commitment to environmental stewardship but also affirm its status as a leader in providing exceptional gaming experiences in Europe.

Petra de Ruiter (CEO): “The casino in Venlo is a real gem. From outside and inside. Every detail has been thought about in the context of guest experience and sustainability. Our employees complete that experience and I am therefore very proud of all employees that we can win this award.”

Casino manager Wim Gerards: “It was time for the prize to finally come to Venlo. We have earned this hard with all our employees,” he responded at the presentation in London.
