William Hill Renames Several Shops in Honour of Champion Hurdle Favourite

William Hill, a leading bookmaker in the igaming industry, has renamed seven of its shops in Gloucestershire, including four in Cheltenham, as Constitution Hill in honour of the Champion Hurdle favourite. As part of its Epic Odds offer, the company has boosted the horse’s odds to even-money to win the opening day feature, making it available for up to £10 for both new and existing William Hill customers.

This move is part of William Hill’s strategy to increase customer engagement and promote its brand by offering unique experiences. By aligning its brand with the excitement of the Cheltenham Festival, William Hill aims to stand out in the competitive igaming market and attract more customers.

William Hill Spokesperson, Lee Phelps said, “Constitution Hill is the most exciting horse in training right now and, as his current price suggests, he’ll be very hard to beat in Tuesday’s Champion Hurdle.

“His current price of 1/3 is testament to the unbeaten superstar’s reputation, but our trading team want to celebrate an epic horse with an equally Epic Odds offer which allows punters to back him at even-money.

“To mark the occasion, we’ve given a bit of a facelift to seven of our retail shops and have renamed them ‘Constitution Hill’ in homage to Nicky Henderson’s charge.”

Barry Geraghty, horse racing brand ambassador for William Hill added, “When we had Constitution Hill as a youngster, you wouldn’t dare to dream that he was going to turn out to be quite this good. He’s the star of the show this week and it’s a good bit of fun to see his name take pride of place above the William Hill shops.

“There are no certainties in racing, but he should take all the beating in the Champion Hurdle on Tuesday. Odds of 1/3 might look skinny, but William Hill’s even-money Epic Odds could be worth a look at.”
