BetMGM Expands Jackpot Blitz Offering with Octoplay in Ontario

BetMGM has extended its collaboration with igaming content provider Octoplay through the launch of Jackpot Blitz in Ontario, marking a significant step in Octoplay’s North American expansion strategy. The deployment follows the supplier’s recent provisional licensing approval in Michigan and strengthens its presence in the regulated Canadian market.

The bespoke jackpot product, developed in partnership with BetMGM, features an opt-in mechanism and has achieved an 88% player participation rate since its initial release. The Ontario launch is part of a broader growth trajectory for Octoplay, which has recently secured distribution deals and active licenses in multiple jurisdictions including the UK, Sweden, Malta, Greece, Romania, Slovakia, Italy, and Belgium.

This rollout adds to Octoplay’s momentum in regulated markets globally and builds on existing integrations with operators such as Microgame, Niké, and Svenska Spel. The company is preparing for further entries into U.S. states throughout 2025, positioning Jackpot Blitz as a central feature in its North American roadmap.
