BetMGM Integrates Inspired Entertainment’s Hybrid Game

BetMGM, an igaming and sports betting company, has partnered with Inspired Entertainment to introduce a new online game, MGM Bonus City. This digital platform combines virtual CGI, green screen technology, and real-dealer footage, aiming to offer an immersive online gaming experience. Initially available in New Jersey through BetMGM, there are plans for the game to be introduced to Pennsylvania and Michigan.

The game, MGM Bonus City, provides a virtual Las Vegas experience where players select from eight potential outcomes on a main wheel. It includes four bonus rounds themed after Las Vegas MGM properties, which are New York-New York, Luxor, MGM Grand, and Bellagio. A special multiplier, automatically assigned before each spin, has the capability to augment players’ winnings.

Described as a Hybrid Dealer product, this format blends branded casino and game show content, integrating physical and digital elements without requiring a physical studio. The outcomes are determined through Random Number Generation (RNG), allowing for continuous play, and hosts are changed regularly.

“We are thrilled to partner with BetMGM to introduce our revolutionary Hybrid Dealer technology via MGM Bonus City,” said Brooks Pierce, President and Chief Executive Officer of Inspired. “Our patented technology offers unparalleled opportunities for our customers to provide a realistic ‘as live’ experience to players without the logistics of dedicated studios and staffing. This is just the start of a whole new category of games.”

Oliver Bartlett, Senior Director of Gaming at BetMGM, said, “MGM Bonus City brings an added level of fun to BetMGM, allowing players to experience MGM Resorts’ Las Vegas casinos in a new way. We’re confident that our customers will enjoy this unique digital offering.”
