Driven by a surge to regulated markets and focus on Latin America, Swedish playmaker Betsson has reported record iGaming revenue in its 2025 Annual Report.
Revenue increased by eight percent, year-on-year, to €1.197 billion (£1.04bn) — the highest level in the group’s history. And operating income hit €253 million (£220.93m), with a margin of 21.1 percent.
At 72 percent iCasino continued to account for the lion’s share of Betsson’s iGaming; with sportsbook contributing an estimated 27 percent.
Geographically, Latin America remained a key growth driver, said the company in its Annual Report, published today, contributing 27 percent of total revenue; while Western Europe also recorded growth.

Launching under local licences in Brazil and Paraguay–and increasing the share of revenue generated from locally-regulated markets to 68 percent in Q4 2025–, Betsson continued to build its iGaming spread.
“2025 was characterised by continued strong customer activity, and [big] investments continued to enhance the customer experience,” noted Betsson CEO Pontus Lindwall.
“[Although] profitability during the year was impacted by our product investments and increased gaming taxes, among other things, investments in recent years and our activities for 2026 support our ambition to continue creating long-term value for our shareholders.”
Fully Stacked
Betsson continued to invest in its iGaming product and technology stack, including payment solutions, AI-enabled processes and sportsbook development.
The company stated that its proprietary platform now generates approximately 90 percent of group revenue, supporting both B2C and B2B iGaming operations.
The group also highlighted its expansion strategy, with operations now spanning 24 licensed markets globally.
Betsson strengthened its presence in Latin America in 2025 through a new office in Argentina and additional local market entries, while continuing to scale its global brand through sponsorships and marketing partnerships.
Looking ahead, Lindwall added: “With a competitive offering, growing brand awareness and a clear strategy for continued growth, Betsson is well positioned to capitalise on opportunities offered by the structurally attractive global online gaming market.”
