Better Collective Appoints René Schrøder as European Editor in Chief


Effective August 8, 2023, René Schrøder has been appointed as Editor in Chief for Europe at Better Collective in Copenhagen. Schrøder has previously worked with entities like Ekstra Bladet, Viaplay, and bold.dk, a sports media entity in Denmark. His prior roles involved managing content across various channels, including video, audio, and social media.

In his new role at Better Collective, Schrøder will focus on developing editorial policies and content strategies in coordination with regional teams. His responsibilities will also include designing editorial plans for sports news websites in Europe and coordinating with local teams for their implementation. The aim is to cater to a broader European audience.
