iGaming operator DBET has entered a multi-year sponsorship agreement with the Swedish Basketball Association (SBBF), covering both the SBL Women and SBL Men leagues. The partnership will begin with the Women’s European Championship in 2025 and run through to the Men’s World Championship in 2027.
The agreement will see DBET support Sweden’s senior national teams as well as the domestic top-tier leagues, offering promotional opportunities and brand visibility across key events in the country’s basketball calendar.
DBET, launched by Immense Group in 2024, has been expanding its profile in the Swedish igaming market through sports partnerships. Its deal with the SBBF follows previous collaborations with the Swedish Bandy Association and former football international Anders Svensson.
The sponsorship is positioned as part of DBET’s wider brand strategy to increase its footprint in Swedish sport, while aligning with responsible gaming principles and community engagement. The SBBF collaboration marks one of the operator’s most significant sponsorships to date in Sweden.
“Partnering with DBET, a dynamic and innovative player in the betting market, is an exciting opportunity for Swedish basketball,” says Susanne Jidesten, Chairwoman of the Swedish Basketball Association. “Together, we can broaden the reach of Swedish basketball and create new engagement opportunities for both fans and players.”
“We are excited to partner with Swedish basketball, a sport that is rapidly gaining popularity in Sweden,” says Jesper Kärrbrink, Group CEO/Chairman of Immense Group. “This partnership will help us engage with Swedish sports fans and strengthen DBET’s position in Sweden’s sports betting market.”
