Entain Finalizes Acquisition of Angstrom Sports

Entain plc, an esteemed player in the global igaming, sports betting, and interactive entertainment landscape, has successfully concluded its acquisition of Angstrom Sports, a notable entity specializing in advanced sports modelling, forecasting, and data analytics.

As detailed in the announcement dated 17 July 2023, the acquisition involved an initial payment of £81 million upon completion. Additional contingent payments, which can reach up to £122 million, are slated to be disbursed over the subsequent three years.

Through this acquisition, Entain fortifies its position by integrating Angstrom’s proprietary services, making it the sole global igaming operator equipped with refined in-house forecasting, analytics, risk management, and pricing proficiencies, particularly tailored for the US sports betting market. By leveraging its global outreach, market dominance, and Angstrom’s offerings, Entain aims to furnish its clientele with a superior and differentiated US sports betting experience, marked by an expansive range of betting prospects and products.
