Entain plc, the global sports betting and gaming group, has announced the appointment of Helen Ashton as an Independent Non-Executive Director, effective immediately.
Helen Ashton brings over 30 years of experience in both public and private equity-backed businesses and is a qualified Chartered Management Accountant. Her previous roles include CFO of ASOS plc, along with executive positions at ASDA, Barclays, and Lloyds Banking Group. She has extensive knowledge of high-growth digital and retail businesses, making her a valuable addition to Entain’s board.
Currently, Helen serves as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee at JD Sports Fashion plc. With her appointment at Entain, she will also join the Audit Committee, contributing her expertise in global business and financial services to support Entain’s strategic goals.
