IWG Launches Multi-Province Progressive Jackpot Across Canadian Lotteries

Instant Win Gaming (IWG), a leading provider of eInstant games for NASPL and WLA-member lotteries, has announced the launch of the first multi-provincial eInstant progressive jackpot in partnership with several Canadian lotteries. Atlantic Lottery, British Columbia Lottery Corporation, Ontario Lottery & Gaming, and Loto-Québec are among the participating operators in this landmark initiative.

Branded Turbo Jackpots in English and Cagnotte Turbo in French, the progressive jackpot is available across eInstant games in nine Canadian provinces: British Columbia, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Ontario, Québec, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island.

The first eInstant game to feature the Turbo Jackpots integration is Cash Blast (or Explosion d’argent réaction in French). This game, launched alongside a retail instant game with the same branding, allows for cross-promotion between online and retail channels.

Turbo Jackpots enhances the eInstant gaming experience by offering players the chance to win multimillion-dollar prizes. The prize pool is fueled by a percentage of sales from designated eInstant games across participating lotteries, creating a dynamic progressive jackpot.

As the jackpot manager, IWG is responsible for overseeing the administration and settlement of jackpot prizes across all participating lotteries. Powered by IWG’s InstantJackpots and integrated into IWG’s InstantRGS (remote game server), the solution required no additional development from the participating lotteries’ iLottery platform providers.

This Canadian launch follows the success of IWG’s Mega Money Jackpots in the U.S., where it has already been embraced by multiple state lotteries, including Kentucky, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. The progressive jackpot model continues to set new records, with a recent $5.8 million win in Virginia.
