Loterie Romande has selected OpenBet as its new technology partner to deliver a next-generation digital and retail sportsbook experience for players in Switzerland’s French-speaking cantons. The agreement further cements OpenBet’s role as a key supplier to World Lottery Association (WLA) members, with its technology already supporting more than 20 lotteries globally.
As part of the new partnership, OpenBet will supply Loterie Romande with its comprehensive sportsbook platform, covering both online and retail operations. The migration to OpenBet’s infrastructure will enable the Swiss operator to enhance its sports betting offering with a suite of advanced front-end solutions, while ensuring continued alignment with local regulatory and responsible gaming standards.
The collaboration includes integration with Loterie Romande’s recently developed LoRoPlay+ self-service betting terminals, offering a unified user experience across digital and physical environments. Players will benefit from new features and an optimised platform designed to meet evolving consumer preferences in a compliant and secure setting.
Loterie Romande will also utilise OpenBet’s Managed Trading Services, gaining access to a team of over 100 traders operating 24/7. The partnership includes OpenBet’s Trading System, which will manage real-time feed integrations and pricing, underpinned by robust risk management tools to support ongoing sportsbook operations.
