International Game Technology PLC (IGT) has announced the launch of its IGT PlaySports Trading Advisory Services Team in Michigan, through a new agreement with Lac Vieux Desert Northern Waters Casino & Resort in Watersmeet. This collaboration marks a significant expansion of Northern Waters’ sports betting operations, leveraging IGT PlaySports’ expertise for a variety of trading-related services.
Northern Waters has been utilizing IGT’s award-winning platform and self-service betting technology for its sportsbook since 2021. With this new agreement, the casino plans to further enhance its sportsbook offerings by deploying IGT’s PeakBarTop™ cabinets with Total Gaming™ software. This hardware features an ergonomic design and allows players to enjoy Game King® video poker, slots, keno, and sports betting from a single device and a single gaming wallet.
This development aims to improve the gaming experience for patrons at Northern Waters, integrating advanced technology and comprehensive trading services to support its sports betting operations.
