Global igaming operator SkillOnNet has expanded its content offering in Ontario by extending its partnership with Stockholm-based game studio Thunderkick. The move will see Thunderkick’s portfolio of slot games become available to a wider audience through SkillOnNet-powered brands, including PlayOJO, SlotsMagic, and SpinGenie.
This development follows Ontario’s 2022 opening of its regulated online gaming market, which has since emerged as a significant growth area for igaming operators. SkillOnNet was among the early license holders and has continued to scale its presence in the province through content partnerships and platform enhancements.
Thunderkick’s games, including titles such as Pink Elephants, Esqueleto Explosivo, and Beat the Beast, are recognised in the igaming sector for their distinct design and gameplay mechanics. The studio’s continued expansion into regulated markets like Ontario supports its broader growth strategy and aligns with SkillOnNet’s objective of offering diverse content to players across licensed jurisdictions.
The partnership underlines the ongoing trend of content aggregation in the North American igaming space, with operators seeking differentiated offerings to drive user acquisition and retention in competitive markets.
Jani Kontturi at SkillOnNet at SkillOnNet said: “Thunderkick has been a key partner of ours in other markets, and we’re delighted to bring their outstanding content to a deeper pool of players in Ontario. This region is fast becoming a vital part of our operations, and we’re confident the studio’s games will continue to resonate in the jurisdiction.”
Mariam Dodosh, Account Manager at Thunderkick said: “We’re thrilled to expand our relationship with SkillOnNet and launch our games with several high-profile brands in Ontario. Our games have a track record of strong performance, and we’re excited to see them go live with new operators as we extend our reach in one of the most dynamic new regions in iGaming.”
