Rivalry Adds Slots to Casino.exe Platform

In a recent update, Rivalry Corp., an igaming operator, has augmented its online casino platform, Casino.exe, with the introduction of a new slots category. The TSXV: RVLY, OTCQX: RVLCF, and FSE: 9VK listed company aimed to expand its casino offerings, which noted a betting handle of C$57.5 million in Q2 2023, by integrating over two dozen slot-style games.

The addition of slot games to Rivalry’s platform aims to further engage and retain the igaming audience, which is globally noted to be roughly 14% larger than the online sports betting demographic.

The new Rivalry Slots maintains its own distinct page within the Casino.exe platform and employs an early-2000’s internet design aesthetic, providing users with a specialized visual environment for game interaction. The page also incorporates various interactive components and hidden elements (Easter eggs) as an effort to intertwine entertainment and betting within the user experience.

The slots category has been made available in the majority of Rivalry’s international markets and is anticipated to launch in Ontario in the forthcoming weeks.

“Rivalry’s entry into the casino segment last year has quickly grown into a meaningful source of player activity and revenue,” said Steven Salz, Co-Founder and CEO, Rivalry. “Slots are far-and-away one of the most popular online casino genres and will markedly complement our existing iGaming offering in terms of both betting handle and player satisfaction. We’ve also maintained our high product standard by uniquely incorporating slots into our proprietary Casino.exe platform, which will allow us to continue scaling our iGaming catalog without compromising the premium experiences that users come to Rivalry for.”

“Our product philosophy is at its core about creating fundamentally entertaining experiences,” said David King, Director of Product Design, Rivalry. “Rivalry Slots delivers that entertainment factor by wrapping an ordinary product in design nostalgia to not only be relevant to a young Millennial or Gen Z customer, but also strategically differentiate our offering from the countless other online casinos players have to choose from.”
