Rivalry Corp., an international sports betting and media firm, has rolled out its esports betting feature termed ‘Same Game Combos’. This feature enables users to merge multiple bets within one esports match, aiming for an increased potential return. It’s now accessible for prominent esports matches in League of Legends, Counter-Strike, and Dota 2.
‘Same Game Combos’ capitalizes on a growing trend in esports betting, giving bettors an option that can result in higher payouts from smaller wagers. This enhancement was facilitated through data feeds sourced from PandaScore and is projected to boost player acquisition and retention for Rivalry’s primary esports betting services. In 2022, these services represented over 90% of the company’s sportsbook handle.
To augment the user experience, ‘Same Game Combos’ will have distinct branding, animations, and interactive components. The intent is to resonate with the entertainment inclinations of the Millennial and Gen Z demographics.
The feature is presently accessible to Rivalry users worldwide. Rivalry plans to evolve ‘Same Game Combos’ over time, integrating more intricacies, betting markets, and additional esports titles, such as Valorant.
“Finding success among Millennial and Gen Z customers means being first to introduce new sports wagering experiences at the edge of technical and product innovation where this audience lives,” said Steven Salz, Co-Founder and CEO, Rivalry. “Same Game Combos brings one of the most popular bets on the board to an audience of deeply engaged esports fans while extending Rivalry’s position at the vanguard of betting entertainment.”
“It’s important to add depth to our products and more options for our users,” said David King, Director of Product Design, Rivalry. “We are building for an under-30 demographic that have high expectations for the entertainment products they consume. Delivering on that level of entertainment, while creating a meaningful user experience, adds material value to the Rivalry platform.”
