Stake Names Frankie Dettori as Global Brand Ambassador

Stake has announced the appointment of legendary jockey Frankie Dettori as a global ambassador, further expanding the operator’s portfolio of high-profile partnerships across the international sporting landscape.

Dettori, whose career spans over three decades, is widely recognised as one of the most successful jockeys in horse racing history. A three-time British Flat Racing Champion, he rose to international prominence following his unprecedented seven-race sweep at Ascot in 1996—an achievement that remains one of the sport’s most memorable moments.

Over the course of his career, Dettori has secured 287 Group 1 victories, including 23 Classic wins, and continues to compete at an elite level. His recent performances in the United States include six wins within his first two weeks of competition and a Grade 1 victory in the Santa Anita Handicap in March 2023.

Dettori’s global appeal extends beyond racing, with his trademark flying dismount and longstanding presence in media making him a well-known figure across generations of fans. His ambassadorship with Stake sees him join a roster of personalities representing the brand across multiple sports, including mixed martial arts, football, and motorsport.

Stake continues to position itself as a prominent player in the global igaming market by aligning with internationally recognised figures and expanding its brand presence through strategic ambassadorial partnerships.

Frankie Dettori commented: “I am really excited to be working with Stake and to be part of such a refreshing and dynamic team. They are a hugely recognisable name within sport and work with some of the biggest athletes and teams, so I am looking forward to coming onboard and seeing what is next!”

Akhil Sarin, Chief Marketing Officer at Stake, said: “Frankie is one of the biggest names in horse racing history, but more importantly than that, he is also a name that transcends sport. His career achievements and personality are unmatched in the racing world and we are thrilled to welcome him on to the Stake roster.”
