Svenska Spel has appointed Katarina Borstedt as its new Chief People & Culture Officer, with the appointment taking effect in September 2026.
Borstedt joins the operator from Munters FoodTech, where she served as VP People & Culture. In her new role, she will become a member of Svenska Spel’s Group Management team and report directly to the chief executive.
Her previous experience includes roles as Chief People & Culture Officer at Proxify and Director of Growth at Northvolt. She has also held senior positions at Ahlstrom-Munksjö and Munksjö, in addition to working on organisational design and HR transformation projects at PwC and Deloitte.
Following Borstedt’s appointment, Joakim Karlsson, who has been serving as acting Chief People & Culture Officer, will return to his previous role as Head of Talent Acquisition & Tech at Svenska Spel.
