Svenska Spel Sport & Casino is excited to announce a rebranding of its equine gaming division to “Svenska Spel Hästar,” following a recent resolution in a naming dispute with ATG. The decision, delivered by the Patent and Market Appeal Court on January 25th, has prompted this change to ensure clarity and distinction in our offerings.

For our valued customers, this rebranding will be seamless, with no alterations to the high-quality betting experiences on Swedish and international trotting and galloping events that you’ve come to expect from us. Our commitment to delivering an exceptional range of betting options remains unchanged, now under the banner of Svenska Spel Hästar.

Fredrik Wastenson, CEO and Business Area Manager at Svenska Spel Sport & Casino, expressed his views on the transition: “For our customers, this means no changes apart from the name change. We are proud of our fantastic offer on horses, which will be available just like before, but now under Svenska Spel Hästar. We think it is strange that the court considers that descriptive words for a business can have such high protection, but obviously respects the court’s decision,”

Svenska Spel Hästar will continue to feature popular betting options such as the High Five and Duo, as well as Winner and Place bets in French races. Additionally, enthusiasts can enjoy live streaming of all races, including the much-anticipated Prix d’Amérique at Vincennes on January 28th, marking the pinnacle of the French trotting season.
