Caesars Entertainment has expanded its igaming and retail sports betting operations into Oregon through a new partnership with the Coquille Indian Tribe. The collaboration saw Caesars Sportsbook go live at the newly rebranded Ko-Kwel Casino Resort | Coos Bay, formerly The Mill Casino, which marked its 30th anniversary with the launch.
The rollout includes a network of Caesars Sportsbook self-service kiosks placed throughout the casino floor, offering a wide selection of wagering options such as same-game parlays, player props, futures, and in-play markets. These kiosks introduce a local retail alternative to mobile betting in the state, including full access to college sports betting markets—features not available on Oregon’s statewide digital platforms.
The initiative supports a shared commitment by Caesars and the Coquille Indian Tribe to provide a responsible sports betting environment. The in-person launch also reinforces Caesars’ longstanding emphasis on Responsible Gaming. The company was the first commercial operator to establish a dedicated Responsible Gaming initiative, Project 21, in 1989. More recently, Caesars Sportsbook received RG Check accreditation from the Responsible Gambling Council and the Corporate Social Responsibility award from the National Council on Problem Gambling.
The introduction of Caesars Sportsbook at Ko-Kwel Casino Resort expands the brand’s retail sportsbook footprint and brings a new wagering experience to sports fans in Oregon aged 21 and over.
“We remain committed to supporting Indian gaming, and we’re proud to partner with the Coquille Indian Tribe to enhance their guest experience,” said Eric Hession, President of Caesars Digital. “Bringing our sports wagering offering to a new jurisdiction for the first time is always significant, and we know offering our expansive menu of sports wagering markets will undoubtedly enhance the exceptional experience that the Coquille Indian Tribe provides to its guests.”
“We are proud to have this iconic gaming brand join us, as both brands have represented excellence in the industry for decades. This partnership aligns perfectly with our commitment to advancing gaming opportunities and enhancing guest satisfaction. We are excited to collaborate with such a distinguished brand and look forward to creating even more memorable sports wagering experiences for our guests!” added Margaret Simpson, CEO of the Coquille Economic Development Corporation.
