‘I Had Trials Once’ has garnered over 1 million downloads, featuring Jordan Hulme, Radcliffe’s non-league striker, and Gareth Seddon, former Salford player turned football agent, as regular hosts. The series is set to return for a three-month period, kicking off with ex-Charlton and Bristol City manager Dean Holden as the first guest.

Each episode will include a segment dedicated to promoting bet365’s 6 Scores Challenge, with video clips disseminated across the podcast’s social media channels. This initiative is part of a broader strategy by Checkd Media, a subsidiary of Checkd Group, to foster engagement within its expansive sports fan community through partnerships with leading names in the igaming sector.

The ‘I Had Trials Once’ podcast, produced by Checkd Media, aligns with the promotion of bet365 and its 6 Scores Challenge. This game, accessible to players at no cost, offers the enticing prospect of sharing a £1 million prize for accurately predicting the outcomes of six selected football matches.

Will Tyrrell, UK Media Director at Checkd Media, said: “I Had Trials Once has been a great success ever since it attracted a large, enthusiastic audience the first time around and it’s fantastic to bring it back again in conjunction with such a big operator brand.

“Dean Holden was a great guest with an interesting story to tell, kicking off a new series that is sure to be very entertaining while also serving as a valuable promotional tool for bet365’s 6 Scores Challenge.”
