Checkd Media Announces the Return of Successful Football Show with William Hill and Big Sam
Checkd Media, a rapidly expanding iGaming business, has announced the return of its widely popular William Hill-sponsored show, No Tippy Tappy Football with Sam Allardyce, for the exciting conclusion of the current football season.
Initially launched on Checkd’s Footy Accumulators social channels ahead of the 2022 World Cup, the content garnered significant attention, generating over 14 million impressions and 1.4 million views. Notable guests, such as Simon Jordan, Graeme Souness, and Neil Warnock, made appearances on the show’s video podcast, which can be viewed in full on Footy Accumulators’ YouTube channel.
The podcast, hosted by Natalie Pike alongside Allardyce, will continue to feature high-profile guests who will provide exclusive insights, opinions, and anecdotes both on and off the pitch. Confirmed guests include Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler, former top-flight referee Mark Clattenburg, ex-Liverpool and England star Emile Heskey, and former Tottenham manager Tim Sherwood.
No Tippy Tappy Football with Sam Allardyce gained a devoted following and sparked significant interest across mainstream and sports media with its World Cup-themed discussions. The extension of the show’s run follows Checkd Media’s recent launch of The Inside Track, an exclusive weekly horse racing show produced for William Hill. The show, hosted by Checkd-owned The Winners Enclosure’s analyst James Mackie, features news and tips and includes appearances from William Hill ambassadors such as Kate Tracey, Sir AP McCoy, and Barry Geraghty.
Will Tyrrell, Director of UK Media at Checkd Media said, “Creating a forum for open, honest discussion with some of football’s best-known names is what we set out to achieve when we created No Tippy Tappy Football, so it is fantastic to see this come to fruition and the positive response we’ve had so far.
“It is fantastic to have a high-profile name such as Sam Allardyce on board once again to share his no-nonsense opinions on footballing matters. We are also delighted that our long-term operator partner William Hill continues to support our vision of providing entertaining content combined with betting insights for football fans.”
Daryl West, Head of Sponsorship, Social and PR at William Hill added, “We are thrilled with the engagement No Tippy Tappy Football with Sam Allardyce has brought in so far, keeping our audience returning each week for its must-watch content, expert opinions and tips. The calibre of guests joining Big Sam and Natalie is top-notch and we look forward to continuing our journey together until the end of the season.”
