FanDuel Amplifies Responsible iGaming Advocacy with Enhanced Ambassador Program

FanDuel, a subsidiary of Flutter, has expanded its efforts for responsible iGaming during Responsible Gaming Education Month. The company has engaged soccer player Carli Lloyd and PGA TOUR professional Tom Kim to join their RG Ambassador, Craig Carton, for this season.

As part of its commitment, FanDuel plans to use a combination of expertise, content, and strategic partnerships to promote responsible gaming. Carli Lloyd and Tom Kim will collaborate with FanDuel to raise awareness about the tools the company provides its users, such as deposit limits, wager restrictions, and time limitations. They will be seen alongside NFL player Rob Gronkowski and Kay Adams from FanDuel TV’s “Up & Adams” in upcoming advertising campaigns.

This month, FanDuel will introduce a new advertisement for responsible iGaming. Their TV segment, “The System”, has been updated by FanDuel’s internal team and will be broadcast throughout the football season, focusing on FanDuel’s ‘Play Well’ tools.

Additionally, FanDuel has produced content that explores responsible gaming. This content brings together Craig Carton, Rob Gronkowski, and Kay Adams and includes discussions on responsible gaming. A new social series named “FanDuel FanDial” is also being launched where fans can have live video interactions with these individuals, highlighting the company’s self-serve responsible gaming tools.

In 2024, FanDuel will collaborate with Front Office Sports to launch a responsible iGaming educational course on the Front Office Sports’ Learning platform. The course will cover the basics of the sportsbook industry, and upon completion, participants can showcase their certification on platforms such as LinkedIn.

On September 26, FanDuel is organizing its second Play Well Day in New York City for its employees. The event aims to focus on the company’s efforts towards customer protection and will include sessions with FanDuel’s executives and RG Ambassadors on promoting a safe iGaming environment.

These initiatives are in line with Flutter’s sustainability strategy, the Positive Impact Plan. The company aims for half of its global online customers to use a responsible gaming tool by the end of 2026.

Alison Kutler, Vice President of Sustainability and Responsible Gaming at FanDuel, said: “FanDuel remains steadfast in its commitment to promoting responsible gaming, and we’re thrilled to be rolling out this series of programming to mark Responsible Gaming Education Month. Bringing Carli and Tom on as RG ambassadors who can spread the message of safer play combined with debuting new advertising, social media content and a Front Office Sports training, highlight how we want to elevate the standard for operator efforts on responsible gaming.”
